The Sequel Trilogy

The Sequels got their name because they follow the Original Trilogy (OT). The Sequels were made by J. J. Abrams because George Lucas had sold Star Wars to Disney before they were made. When they came out most people hated them but I believe it's because they were supposed to follow what was laid for them (the Prequels and OT) but they didn't and made their own stuff.

• Some random people with no kmowledge of the force or previous experience with a lightsaber won a duel against a person with lots of knowledge and experience of the force and lightsabers.
• Lightsabers work more like swords that make a cut instead of penetrating objects.
• Leia became Marry Poppins and started floating through space for some reason.
• Anakins redemtion went out the window because Palpatine got revived.

If the Sequels were there own thing or were the first movies or something then these wouldn't be issues (except for the first which is unrealistic in any universe no matter how far away) because the Sequels would be the base for the rest of the movies to follow including lore, that would explain Leia floating, and how weapons work, which would explain the more sword like lightsabers.
